Biodiversity and conservation of habitats is a key aspect within the planning process. As a result, the Urban Green Ecology team works closely with clients and the local authority to produce pragmatic, cost effective solutions to a wide variety of schemes.
The ecology team at Urban Green are enthusiastic and committed to producing a high quality range of work from Phase 1 Habitat Surveys to Protected Species Surveys including bats, great crested newts, water voles and badgers. The team prides itself on creating reports that are clear and concise. The team are members of IEEM and hold relevant licences.
Our ecologists can also undertake investigations to support BREEAM and CfSH reports, and can help to achieve the desired grade by providing advice on protecting high quality habitat, incorporation of ecologically enhancing features such as bird and bat boxes, and with consultation with the Landscape department produce new native species planting schemes.
